About
Capital Brewery was founded in 1984 to brew traditional German-style lager beer in America. The brewery uses copper kettles from the Krekeler Brewery in Germany, which are still in use today. They produce a variety of beers, including lagers, ales, IPAs, and barrel-aged beers. Their flagship product, Capital Amber, has been available in cans since 1999. The brewery is committed to sustainability, using solar panels and providing spent grain to local farmers. They host events in their Bier Garten and Bier Stube, and offer tours of their facility. The brewery is located in Middleton, Wisconsin.
