Joyhound Beer Company is a Maryland-based, black-owned craft beer brand founded by Alfred Rotimi, Maryland's only Black Neuroscientist Brewer, and his family of scientists. The company blends science, art, and innovation to create premium craft beers. Their offerings include Tailwagger, a cold-fermented American golden ale; Foggy Chesapeake, a smooth and citrusy brew; and Plum Power Sour, a bright and tart sour beer. Joyhound Beer Company is committed to using the finest ingredients and leveraging their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) backgrounds to produce exceptional beers. Their products are available at Total Wine & More in Maryland, as well as local Maryland and DC bars and liquor stores. The company is also planning to open a taproom in Baltimore, Maryland.
