Journeyman Brewer Academy

Journeyman Brewer Academy is a premier institution dedicated to educating and training individuals in the art, craft, and science of brewing beer. Established in 2015, the academy offers two comprehensive online courses: the Journeyman Brewer course, which provides fundamental knowledge of brewing processes and operations, and the Technical Brewer course, designed for advanced leadership roles in the brewing industry. With a strong emphasis on education, quality ingredients, and the right equipment, the academy has successfully graduated over 200 students, achieving a remarkable 98% placement rate. Many students secure positions in breweries even before completing their education. The academy collaborates with Dallas College to offer specialized classes and provides expert consulting services in brewing technology and operations. Led by Master Brewer Peter Boettcher, a Six Sigma Black Belt, Journeyman Brewer Academy is committed to fostering the next generation of skilled brewers and advancing the brewing industry.
